Hmm, what a rollercoaster ride. This long weekend is both good and bad, traumatizing and enjoyable. First was the medicine interview, kinda freaked out by it, the associate prof and dr in the first round were scary, i have a lot of doubts now, not sure what kind of impression i gave them, hope it ain't negative, hope they ain't pissed with me or something, hope i got my points acrossed despite them being disorganised and undecided. i hope i would get a place in the course, i hope i can. imagine how it was like, within 4 hours, i had to transform from a soldier in full battle gear and camoflauge into a promising young gentleman appearing for an interview as a prospectful candidate. naturally, i said rubbish and crap, for those of you who had time to prepare, lucky people. still having high hopes about it, dun really know what to stardy if i don't get into medicine.
well, there are enjoyable parts too, like going out with chuanyuan and gloree to do my stuff, getting specs and buying shoes, hahas, good to see chuan yuan still surviving well, jiayous man, bmt is probably the best part of army life, serious. well, and there's gloree, who earns 100 bucks for mowing lawn, and wants to travel around the world. i guess that's what friendship is about, going out together once in a while and u feel like u just met them yesterdae, no need to warm up or break any ice, its like spark and fire burns. really miss them alot, especially stardying in the reading room together. those were the daes. schooling really rocks.
borrowed a vcd, riding alone for a thousand miles, really touching story, perhaps it kindda linked with my personal experience and i could understand the story more clearly. i was really moved. i guess it was a good choice compared to saving private ryan. a movie with a lot of depth, like how i wanted it to be.
haven book in yet and i cannot stop thinking about the next book out already, army life sucks, i want to get out of it. field camp again tmr, time to feed the sandflies and mosquitoes again...
