Noel concert has finally come to a wonderful end! This long awaited concert was really a success, well, at least for the band. For myself... i can only say i could have done better! arghx...
Mononoke Hime, the one song that i loved with all my heart, the one song that i very hoped to perform, the one song with the one solo that would melt the hearts of everyone, the song with the one solo that i destroyed... Cannot really forgive myself, how could i have mispitched, how could i have pressed the wrong valve? Haiz, waited all my life to plae it, and then i screwed it up. Well, it sounded okay, but it could have been a lot a lot better! Oh well, but as yanyun has said, mononoke still rocks.=) A song that will never leave my heart=)
The rest of the songs went well, was quite tiring lar first half, the second half, the i 177 155 4, gort one whole chunk the whole section never come in lar! just like Capriccio! Margaret, Daniel, Alfred and Jesmine! Good job for all of your solos! they sounded really nice! The seniors said Disney fantasy was the nicest, i also think so=) Such a cute and bubbly song. But i guess the part of the concert i enjoyed the most, other than the solo part where u can feel the power of adrenaline, the small little molecule that comes out from your adrenal gland, is the after concert, the giving presents, the taking pictures, the bumming around, chatting around!
I cannot wait for Capriccio next year, probably the last concert i will have, band life rocks! Maybe in university i would want to join band, but i will be a lot lousier after NS, maybe join SAF? dunnoe, keeping my options open. I never regretted picking up the trumpet, thanks Weiliang! and Haozheng from bringing me into this section that i have joined for 5 years already. Then gort the four pro guys, Kaikiat, Aaron, Bing Cong and Anthony, after that, Erwin and Ivan then Darren and shawn, then clarence dion and eric, then jansen, hahas!!! trumpetteers of the world unite! Then there is ginny and yintat, charmaine, samuel and miche! daniel and alfred! Maggot and shueli! Trumpet trumpet yi ji bang!
