Band... a group of musicians who come together voluntarily to make good music
Yes, silver, it has marred our records, changed the impression of others on us. But what we cannot deny was that we made the best music we could make.
Yes, tears i shed, it hurt too much, always been a high flyer, such is the taste of failure. But life's full of ups and downs
Just like in our choice piece, James Barnes' 4th movement of the 3rd symphony, a song that describes the composer's birth of a his new son. The first three movements has been dedicated to his dead daughter Natalie. After the mourning for the past, celebrations sparks off for the arrival of the new.
As you carry on with your life, 10 years, 20 years down the road, if you should choose not to remember the silver of this syf, at least, do remember, the exchanging of gifts before that, the hugging and pats and good lucks, the practices when u were so tired but still hung on and carried on, the times when u hope u could skip lessons for doing tuning charts,when u finished plaeing the music and felt like it was all over in a flash, when u feel that the music u plaed took the breaths of the ajudicators away as in a kiss, when u felt that u did ur best.
A moment you would savour in your next stage of lives, a moment that will still captivate you, an experience that you will keep close to your heart, a spirit that will remain strong.
Keep the faith, and remember, be proud to be a band member.
One band, one sound, one spirit, one music.
