Okies...shall do the soviet version later, must speak in the common language. Did not do much lars, but yar went to Batam. The place is like totally not like Singapore, and after seeing the place, it has really made me more appreciative of all that i have, my possessions, my family and friends. You can see on the streets all these little kids, mostly boys, they walk around the street and beg for money, they also sell newspapers and even wax shoes. All these little things they do, they hope that ultimately they will get enough money for a meal at the nearby coffee shop. Then the place is rather contrasty, the place where the people live is totally like a shanty town u see in ur ordinary marianne cheong textbook(available at all good bookstores)-crap- However, the shoping mall is like totally air conditioned, nice, a bity spacious, abundance of goods and super colorful, each mall comes with like a psecific design, then gort a big variety.I guess their government focus too much on tourism yar? Another thing, u can shop till u drop there, though its like your ordinary metro or isetan, what really attracts people there is seriously the price. i even compared it, a like normal raulph lauren polo long sleeve shirt in suntec cost like 35 dollars, but at batam, the real stuff cost almost like only 20 dollars and its the same!!!brand wise material wise.i only bought a few shirts though that priced around 4-12 dollars and my sister bought like 10 t shirts for singapore currency of barely 40 dollars!!! The seafood there is, oh heavenly nice, and the catch it fresh from the seas and like deposit them into a pond or water tank according to a schedule...wanted to clear a lot of stuff on my wishlist and my undiscolosed wishlist. the shirts, the jacket and bought cds that cannot seem to work...couldn't find a nice bag and wallet though, cos this stuff need to be durable and u cannot expect that from unbranded goods, maybe buying in singapore is better, a higher price but goes a long wae. Also one thing, when u shop there, every piece of clothe u pick up, please please please always ask for a new one, cos the display one can gort like what coffee stains, cigarette ashes and maybe cockroach eggs. so yar check check and check again...Every mall there has a arcade too, and i tried out percussion freaks there cos nobody there can jing qing dui lian, but then was really dui lian, performed only averagely on the practise stage, then the easiest piece i also cannot plae, only can concentrate on the cymbals and the snare, bass drum and toms super hard to add in, then the game ended before i completed like 10 bars of notes....sigh...i need a tutor!!!the currency also quite farni lar, my stupid sister changed like 300 bucks and she gort like 1.5 billion the she started saeing what, hahahaha i am rich, state what u want and u shall have it, then i saed, dun worry, i will spend ur money.=p then on the second dae we went shopping again lar, but then we buy too much stuff le so we finished the money and decided to take the earlier boat back...
